A sound is a form of energy produced by the vibrations of air molecules at a particular frequency.
Have you ever imagined that our daily interactions and movements could also be a form of sound production?
Our team recycles and repurposes Hengstyle company's old appliances to give them a new lease of life. In our space, the folding screen acts like the vocal cords in our throat. It is the source and transformation of sound. When people move through the space and their eyes meet through the gaps in the folding screen, it is like a beautiful creation of singing. We use different colors and heights to form mechanical notes and moving melodies. This folding screen not only guides the movement of the space but also acts as the vocal cords for all participants.

Exhibition
An industry co-op project was carried out in collaboration with the Hengstyle brand 'Restyle 2050' and the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI). The exhibition named "Imperfect[sic]" was showcased from Dec. 13, 2023, to Jan. 14, 2024, in Taiwan (R.O.C). The exhibition's main highlight was using recycled and damaged equipment as design materials to create different possibilities and usability values through design.
